What is a PTA device?
Public transportation authority (PTA) devices are a great way to keep track of your students’ locations and movements. These devices can be installed in buses, trains, subways, or light rail systems. They typically have sensors that detect when a student is on or near the device. This information is then sent to the PTA’s centralized database.
There are many different types of PTA devices. Some examples include:
– Pedometer: This device measures how many steps a student takes throughout the day.
– Location tracker: This type of PTA device tracks a student’s location throughout the day.
– Transit monitor: This type of PTA device monitors bus arrivals and departures, as well as train arrivals and departures.
