Usually, Samsung would place the power button on the right side of the phone just below the rocker for volume. The button was previously utilized to shut down the phone, but today it performs different tasks. If pressed just one time the button will put the phone into sleep mode and the display goes off, however, the phone stays active.

The first option is located in the shade for notification.

Samsung’s power button has multiple functions. perhaps “power button” is an overused term these days. Due to recent updates to the user interface, it could be confusing, but all three methods will let you turn your device off and restart it.
