The products of the American tech giant are expensive all over the world, but even a company like Apple had to increase the price of the iPhone 13 due to inflation.
According to technology website Gadgets360, the tech giant has raised the prices of the iPhone 13 series due to the depreciation of the Japanese yen against the dollar and rising inflation.
According to the prices shown on the Apple website,
the new price for the base model of the iPhone 13 has reached 117,800 Japanese yen (178,000 Pakistani yen),
while it was previously 99,008 Japanese yen (151 thousand Pakistani yen).
According to the report, the yen has fallen by 18% so far this year, which has also driven up the price of the iPhone,
which dominates the smartphone market in Japan. The purchasing power of consumers has also been affected by the recent rise in the prices of other basic commodities,
which have been sold at stable prices in Japan in recent years.
A report released last month by CenterPoint, a research firm that works on smartphones and mobile applications,
said the Apple iPhone topped the list of the world’s best-selling smartphones in April.
The list included the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 12 in the starting numbers.
The report also states that Apple holds a market share of 5.5% of the global smartphone market.
Apple’s most expensive model,
iPhone 13 Pro Max, came in second with 3.4%, while iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 12 came in third and fourth with 1.8% and 1.6% market share, respectively.
