The government of Punjab banned the sale of sugar for commercial use for one month. During this period, sugar mills are allowed to sell sugar to only domestic consumers.
Chief secretary Jawad Rafique chaired a meeting regarding the hike of prices of sugar. Prices of flour were also discussed in the meeting.
The performance of Sahulat Bazar was also discussed in the meeting.
